Velocit Kit Uses
Dr Reddy’s Velocit Kit is a quick pregnancy test kit. It evaluates the hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin ) in the urine to determine if you are pregnant. Velocit test results are 99% accurate and can detect pregnancy  from a day after a missed period.
Precautions
There are some things you would want to keep in mind while using Velocity pregnancy kit or any other home pregnancy test kit.
- It is recommended that the pregnancy test is taken only a day or two after a missed period, as there may not be enough hCG in your body to calculate accurately otherwise. The most accurate result is possible when the test is taken a week after a missed period.
- The best time to take this test is in the morning. Your urine is most concentrated in the mornings, increasing the chance of an accurate result by the Velocit Kit.
- If the purple lines that show the result are too faint, it is recommended that you do another test.
- No home pregnancy test kit is 100% accurate. There are chances of a false alarm or inaccurate result. It is suggested that multiple tests be taken in intervals to arrive at a more accurate prediction. Or, going to a gynecologist to confirm the results is the best route of action.
- You may get an inaccurate result if Dr Reddy’s Velocit Kit pregnancy test is taken too early in your cycle.
- Keep the Velocit pregnancy kit out of children’s reach, as they may damage it or choke on some components of the kit.
