About:
Nevus (if multiple: Nevi) is a collection of harmless colored cells. They are formed by pigment-producing skin cells and in most cases it's a non-cancerous disorder.
It is very common in India with more than 1 Crore new nevus cases appear every year

Treatment
Self-Care: The common mole type does not need any care, but it is advisable to minimize direct exposure to the sun in case of skin irritation.
Medications: No medication is needed as most benign nevi are harmless. People can follow the ABCDE method developed to identify the sign of cancerous Nevus| non-neoplastic. If the nevus is found to be malignant during the examination, it is likely to be removed through excisional biopsy.
