Although, there is no cure for this condition, treatment may help.

Self-Care: Petroleum jelly, coal tar extracts, and moisturizer can be used.

Medications: Your doctor may prescribe a steroid, vitamin A derivative, anti-inflammatory drugs, light therapy, and many other supplements.
