Sweet’s syndrome is officially known as Acute Febrile Neutrophilic Dermatosis. Although it affects people of all ages and genders, it is most commonly diagnosed in women between the ages of 30 and 60. It can occur with other medical conditions such as pregnancy and upper respiratory infections; with certain cancers such as acute myeloid leukemia or due to an allergic reaction to certain drugs such as NSAIDs and antibiotics.

Symptoms include nasal and chest congestion, dizziness, painful tonsils, and intermittent fever. Getting evaluated by a doctor is advised.

Uneasiness – fever, lesions on the skin, and in the mouth.
Pain – body ache, joint pain, and muscle pain. Pus-filled painful bumps/blisters.
