Bilateral varicose veins occur when both the right and left side of a body vein are enlarged, twisted, swollen, dilated, and overfilled with blood.

Treatment

Self -care: In the early stage of the condition, a healthy diet, exercising, weight loss (if obesity is the concern), elevating legs and wearing compression stockings can help relieve pain and improve circulation.

Medications: Generally no treatment is required if there are no symptoms, but people may need non-surgical or surgical treatment in some cases.
