Scrotal swelling is the enlargement of the scrotum, a sack that houses the testes.

Symptoms

A radiating pain that can be felt through groin, abdomen, and back
Swelling in the scrotum
May include fever, nausea, and vomiting in case of infection

Treatment

Self-Care: Elevate the scrotum by placing something between your legs to aid the swelling and apply an ice pack. Avoid exercise and wear loose clothes.

Medicines: Medication is dependent on the cause of the abnormality. In case of infection, antibiotics are given.
Benign scrotal mass may not require any treatment or need little treatment.
Radical inguinal orchiectomy and chemotherapy may be needed if the doctor (oncologist) suggests.
Pain relief medications are also given to relieve the pain.
