Pre-eclampsia is a medical condition that occurs in pregnant women.

- Severe headache

- Vomiting

- Impaired liver functionality

Treatment

Self-care
During pregnancy, routine medical check-ups to ensure blood pressure levels are normal is mandatory.

Medications
Medications that lower blood pressure, called antihypertensives, may be prescribed. Some antihypertensives are not safe to use during pregnancy. Please consult a medical professional before use.
