Dermadew Caloe Lotion is used as an emollient or moisturiser. It is an aloe vera lotion, also including light liquid paraffin and calamine. Light liquid paraffin provides a layer of oil on the surface of the skin to prevent water evaporating from the skin surface. Aloe vera is reputed for its skin-soothing and moisturizing properties. Calamine helps in healing irritated skin. Dermadew Caloe Lotion uses include the prevention or cure of skin inflammation, dry skin, flaky skin, and seborrhoeic and radiation dermatitis. It is also a mild antiseptic that can be applied on infected wounds, ulcers, and burns. It is also a medicine for sunburn. It moisturizes dry skin, relieves itches and rashes, and helps restore the skin’s smoothness, softness and flexibility.
Side Effects and Precautions
There are no known side effects of Dermadew Caloe Lotion. However, take note of the following precautions:
- Do not use Dermadew Caloe Lotion before consulting with your doctor, and giving them a complete list of medications, pre-existing diseases, health conditions and allergies.
- Do not ingest this medicine orally.
- Do not get it in your mouth, nose or eyes. Immediately rinse and treat if it happens.
- Consult a general doctor or dermatologist before applying on burnt skin, open wounds or irritated skin.
