Prucal Lotion is a blend of Aloe vera, Light liquid paraffin, Calamine, Glycerine, Olive oil, Wheat germ, Allantoin and Tocopheryl acetate. Aloe vera, an important component. works to soothe the skin. Light liquid paraffin serves as a skin lubricant that does not allow loss of water from the skin surface. Together. white soft paraffin and liquid paraffin. is used as a barrier cream. It hydrates. soothes and smoothens the skin. Calamine is composed of oxides of zinc and ferrous and is used for treatment of acnes. scar reduction. eczema and skin problems. It is featured with properties of antiseptics. anti-itching agent and wound healing agent. Glycerine provides moisture to the dry skin. Wheat germ oil. a source of Vitamin B6 and folic acid has anti-ageing properties and also repairs tissue damages. Additionally. it soothes the skin in severities such as psoriasis. eczema and dry skin. Allantoin serves as a keratinocyte and makes it more hydrated. Prucal Lotion is recommended for use in case one is infected by pruritus. urticaria. prickly heat. chickenpox and insect bites. Use under medical supervision

Prucal Lotion Uses:

Prucal Lotion is used for the treatment, control and prevention of conditions such as dryness of skin, burning or irritation of skin, eczema, sunburns, scabs, inflammation of the skin, dermatitis, burns, ulcers, psoriasis and diabetic foot ulcers.

Prucal Lotion Warnings:

If you have been prescribed the Prucal Lotion make sure to inform your doctor the OTC medicines you may or may not be consuming. This could include organic supplements or vitamins. Additionally, ensure to state pre-existing medical conditions if any such as past surgeries or attempting to conceive as certain ailments may increase one’s susceptibility to the side-effects of the medicine. Consume as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Keep your doctor informed if your condition worsens or persists.

Prucal Lotion Precautions:

The Prucal Lotion is for external, topical application only and not for oral consumption. Consult with your doctor before using this medicine on open wounds, dry, chapped, irritated, or sun-burned skin. Ensure to wash your hands before and after applying Prucal Lotion. Clean and dry the skin area to be treated. Do not wash the treated area immediately after applying Prucal Lotion. Also avoid the use of other products on the treated area unless directed by your doctor. Since applying an excessive amount may result in pilling. Use a thinner layer or lesser quantity of medicine to avoid pilling. Avoid getting this medication in your eyes or nose or mouth.
