TONSILAT TABLETS Tonsils are the mass of tissue situated on both sides of the back of mouth. They act as filters by trapping germs that could otherwise enter the body by way of throat and cause infections. Tonsils also produce antibodies that fight infections. But Sometimes. tonsils themselves gets infected resulting in condition known as Tonsillitis. It is a painful condition and may be accompanied by very high fever, Infection of tonsils can also result in ear ache, headache, hoarseness of voice and difficulty in swallowing, In children. it may also be accompanied with nausea and vomiting. Tonsillectomy. i.e. surgical removal of tonsils should be avoided as they are part of the bodys immune system and are the first line of defense protecting body from respiratory infections, SBLs TONSILAT Tablets prevents as well as treats the infection of tonsils.
COMPOSITION: Mercurius biniodatus 3x, Belladonna 3x, Kali muriaticum 3x, Ferrum phosphoricum 3x, Baryta carbonica 3x
INDICATIONS: Tonsillitis, sore throat, pharyngitis (infection of pharynx)
CONTRAINDICATIONS : No known
DOSAGE: Adults: 2 tablets every three hours Children : 1 tablet every three hours or as prescribed by the physician
