What are the first signs of pregnancy?

- OGCT test( with 75 gms of glucose) to detect gestational diabetes
- A urine test will be conducted to detect infections
III trimester/ 32-34 weeks:
- Complete blood count(CBC) will be checked
- A urine test will be conducted to detect infections
- OGCT test( with 75 gms of glucose) to detect gestational diabetes
- A urine test will be conducted to detect infections
Serum markers:
The following markers are used to detect genetic diseases and birth defects
- Double marker-@10-13 weeks – Beta HCG, PAPP-A
- Triple marker-@ 15-20 weeks-AFP, Beta HCG, Unconjugated Estriol
- Quadruple marker-16-22 weeks( more accurate between 16-18weeks)- AFP, Beta HCG, Unconjugated Estriol, Inhibin A
Radiology:
Scans help in monitoring the baby’s development in the womb and to help see if anything is wrong. Following scans are conducted:
- Viability scan- 7 weeks+
- NT/NB scan- 11+6 days- 13+6 days
- Anomaly scan- 18-22weeks
- Interval growth scan- 28-32 weeks
- Term scan(optional)- 36-38 weeks
